This School, offering free education with a number of co-curricular activities, like music, P.T., Yoga, Drawing, Sewing etc. aimed at providing developmental opportunities to unprivileged girsl like rag pickers, slum dwellers and orphans, was opened by us in 2011. Initially it started in collaboration with Sri Sarada Sangha, a Trust working for women and girls, who offered rent free building for the school, while the efforts and resources were put in by Nai Dharti. The school got registered under RTE Act in 2013 and gradually grew up to Standard V by adding one class each year. Number of Students increased to 60 by taking in local slum girls along with the 20 girls under ANKUR Project and the teaching & Midday meal expenses were supported by Glaxo Smithkline Pharmaceuticals Ltd. L.I.C of India donated a school bus, while Corporates like Indian Oil Corporation, Central Bank of India, National Insurance Company Ltd and many organizations like SBI Officer’s Association, Lions Femina etc. extended support in running the school.

Since 2015, this school has been converted into a residential one and shifted to Rajeev Nagar under Project AARUSHI.
